An important consideration for the development of the Chippings Farm Green Belt site is the impact on the local traffic.

To understand this better we are conducting a Traffic Survey based on advice from a traffic consultant.

Our original intention was to perform the survey before Easter but due to the various roadworks and events at the ACS school it was felt that this would be unrepresentative of normal traffic flows, so the traffic survey will be taking place on Tue 29th April and Thu 1st May.

We have been delighted with the response by local residents to help with the survey and we have mostly filled all the one hour long sessions required. However to make it as comprehensive as possible we would like a few more volunteers to act as observers so we can include more local road junctions as part of the survey.

On each of the days we have two 1 hour slots in the morning (7:30-8:30am & 8:30-9:30am) and three 1 hour slots in the afternoon (3:30-4:30pm, 4:30-5:30pm & 5:30-6:30pm). If you would like to volunteer for just one of these slots on either or both days that would enable us to make the traffic survey even more comprehensive.
