The threat to the Green Belt is widespread so other groups have been formed to protect their local Green Belt. Local Green Belt Groups

Normandy Action Group is a formally constituted association established by Normandy residents who care about the village and wish to address independently any issues that affect the environment and amenity of the local community.  Group campaigning to Save the Hogs Back from planned development on the Green Belt. Wisley Airfield Action Group set up to oppose building 2500+ homes on the Green Belt at the disused Wisley Airfield in Surrey The Guildford Green Belt Group oppose building on Green Belt land and encourages other local Green Belt organisations to join them.
